Software Engineer II

About the role

As a Software Engineer II at Hello Patient you will build the products that power Mia, an AI assistant for healthcare practices. You will work across frontend applications, backend services, and AI‑powered workflows to deliver reliable, scalable software in a fast‑moving startup.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and ship customer‑facing features across frontend applications, backend services, and AI workflows.
• Own projects from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Develop AI‑powered healthcare systems involving conversational AI, LLMs, voice, SMS, chat, scheduling, and patient‑engagement workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and actively participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
• Experience owning and delivering meaningful product features end‑to‑end.
• Strong full‑stack development experience or deep expertise in either frontend or backend with the ability to work across the stack.
• Ability to translate product requirements into thoughtful technical solutions and collaborate with product, design, and operations teams.
