Software Engineer I – Enterprise AI Products

About the role

Join Travelers' Enterprise AI & Emerging Tech team as a Software Engineer I, focusing on AI‑powered solutions that transform business processes. You will work alongside senior engineers and architects to design, develop, and deliver innovative AI products that have immediate impact for our lines of business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑driven applications using large language models and agentic workflows.
• Build, deploy, and maintain solutions on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and orchestrate containers with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and senior engineers on solution design and architecture decisions.
• Take ownership of assigned features from concept through production, ensuring high quality and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging AI and automation technologies and apply them to real business problems.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Experience building and maintaining production software in a collaborative environment.
• Proactive attitude, strong ownership mindset, and ability to work with limited direction.
