Software Engineer – DroneArmor CUAS C2 (Multiple Levels)

About the role

Parsons is seeking Software Engineers at multiple experience levels to enhance the DroneArmor CUAS C2 software suite. You will add new features, integrate sensors and effectors, work with APIs, and apply AI/ML capabilities to solve technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Add new features and capabilities to the DroneArmor CUAS C2 product line.
• Integrate new CUAS sensors and effectors with the C2 software.
• Work with APIs, ICDs, and interface messaging components to ensure seamless system communication.
• Leverage internally developed AI/ML algorithms to diagnose and resolve software issues.
• Support demonstrations of Parsons CUAS capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship and active Secret clearance or eligibility.
• Experience levels ranging from junior (2+ years) to lead (10+ years with Master’s).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Java development.
• Python (expert) and C++ (intermediate/advanced).
• API design and integration.
• Docker, Git, Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA).
• AI/ML algorithm development and model deployment to edge devices.
• Experience with Swing, React, CMake, Jenkins, Artifactory.
