Software Engineer – AI-powered Healthcare Data Retrieval

About the role

Codes Health is building an AI‑driven layer that retrieves and processes medical records for plaintiff litigation and related industries. As a Software Engineer you will help create the systems that turn a chaotic, paper‑heavy environment into a fast, reliable data pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic systems that operate across fax, email, web portals, and physical mail.
• Process large medical record batches (300‑30,000 pages) and surface relevant case information.
• Match patients and facilities within messy provider networks.
• Work on both the automated retrieval pipeline and the customer‑facing product used by law firms.
• Ship end‑to‑end features, own outcomes, and iterate based on real‑world data.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production features and owning their lifecycle.
• Deep interest in data systems, workflow automation, and the healthcare domain.
• Curiosity and hands‑on experience exploring large language models (LLMs).
• Ability to thrive in a lean, fast‑moving team and shift focus between backend and frontend work.
