Social Worker II (UMP) - Treatment Coordinator

About the role

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is hiring a Social Worker II (UMP) for the Chester Mental Health Center in Chester, Illinois. The position performs extensive casework as Treatment Coordinator for patients in the rehabilitation program. It is a full-time, salaried union position with one vacancy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy on behalf of patients.
• Review social histories of admission and verify that social assessments are completed.
• Interview assigned patients' relatives and appropriate collateral resources.
• Serve as a member of the treatment team (the text is cut off).

Required profile

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the State does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Bilingual skills are welcome.
• A resume or CV is recommended but not required.
• Proof of higher education must be verified by the Department of Human Services before an offer can be made.

Work conditions

• Anticipated salary of $6,460 to $9,757 per month ($77,520 to $117,084 per year).
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
• Fully in office; hybrid availability is not available.
