Social Services Program Consultant 3 – Database & Platform Specialist

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services is seeking a Social Services Program Consultant 3 to serve as the Resource Database and Platform28 Specialist for the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) network across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs for the DDS Resource Database (DDS RDB) and Platform28 and design or update configurations.
• Collaborate with the DAS Program Integrity database lead, database vendor, and Platform28 vendor to implement system updates, manage help‑desk tickets, and submit enhancement requests.
• Act as liaison among DAS leadership, program staff, system vendors, and ADRC end users.
• Facilitate regular meetings with ADRC staff to review issues, gather feedback, and identify improvements.
• Develop user guides and training materials for DDS RDB and Platform28.
• Manage user access for both DDS RDB and Platform28.
• Draft ADRC policies related to the systems and monitor associated organizational processes.
• Communicate system updates, support testing of new releases, and serve as subject‑matter expert.
• Identify and apply for relevant grant opportunities and travel statewide for training and meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of professional experience, including at least one year in a lead, team‑leader, or supervisory role.
• Or a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience at the Social Services Program Consultant 2 level or equivalent.

Required skills

• Experience with WellSky or Platform28 systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Data analysis and database management capabilities.
• System configuration, installation, documentation, testing, and training expertise.
