SMD Operator – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

The SMD Operator will work on an automated Pick & Place line in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for running the line, ensuring product quality, and supporting other production areas as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the automated Pick & Place SMD line and associated inspection systems.
• Load the correct components and follow work instructions to produce quality products.
• Immediately address any quality issues and collaborate with QA and the Production Manager to resolve them.
• Maintain machine efficiency by minimizing downtime and improving change‑over processes.
• Work toward meeting production cycle times and suggest improvements.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot basic machine errors with support from training personnel.

Required profile

• Experience in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and preferably prior work on SMD lines.
• Willingness to learn and assist in testing, assembly, warehouse receiving, picking, and packing.
• Strong English communication skills to understand work instructions.
• Dedicated, result‑oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
