Site Manager – 100% Travel

About the role

Site Manager is responsible for coordination of construction on the project, ensuring compliance with schedule, safety, cost and quality decisions in partnership with the Owner’s Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on‑site construction activities to meet the project schedule and contract requirements.
• Supervise and mentor on‑site managers, monitor their performance and provide leadership.
• Report construction productivity, schedule performance and trends to the Owner’s Project Manager and take corrective actions.
• Lead construction schedule recovery plans and oversee the completion walk‑down and punch‑list close‑out.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings with field staff and contractors, and handle landowner/public relations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in renewable energy projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• State Electrical Journeyman or Master License (preferred).

Required skills

• Experience with solar, wind or transmission line projects valued at $20M+.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Proven ability to manage subcontracts, subcontractors and self‑perform work.
• Leadership experience in guiding successful project teams.
