Short-Term Rental Virtual Assistant (Smoky Mountains)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Short‑Term Rental (STR) Virtual Assistant to manage vacation rental properties in the Smoky Mountains region. This full‑time remote position supports owners and guests across Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, Tennessee, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of STR properties, including reservations, calendars, and pricing.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, handle check‑ins/check‑outs, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate cleaners, maintenance vendors, and inspectors; process maintenance tickets until completion.
• Keep listings accurate and optimized on Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and other platforms.
• Prepare owner communications and operational reports.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing STR properties in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or Sevierville, TN.
• Strong understanding of the Smoky Mountains vacation‑rental market.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office; availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
