Short-Form Producer (TikTok & Instagram)

About the role

Airrack, a team behind ambitious YouTube videos, is hiring a short-form producer to lead its creator's presence on TikTok and Instagram. The focus is on fast, culturally relevant, daily-postable content, not cinematic Shorts. The ideal person understands the For You Page and Reels feed instinctively and can turn an idea into a published video in a day using only an iPhone and a mobile editor. The role is hands-on, involves traveling with the creator to capture content on location, and requires frequent travel and flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Ideate, shoot, edit and publish daily short-form content for TikTok and Instagram
• Travel with the creator to shoots, events and trips to capture content on location
• Spot emerging trends, sounds and formats early and adapt them quickly
• Produce videos independently with mobile-first tools such as an iPhone and CapCut
• Own the content calendar and posting cadence across platforms
• Analyse performance data and iterate on hooks, formats and pacing
• Align short-form strategy with the main channel through collaboration with the wider team

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience growing a TikTok or Instagram account, page or personality with measurable results
• Sharp, current understanding of social media trends, formats and audience behaviour
• Self-directed, high-output style; does not need detailed creative briefs to ship
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel frequently, work flexible hours and relocate to Los Angeles

Required skills

• Strong fluency with CapCut or comparable mobile editing tools
• Ability to write strong hooks and structure a video for retention in the first three seconds
• Nice to have: experience producing social content for a creator, talent, brand or public-facing personality, and a background in directing or mobile-first cinematography
