Shipping Representative I

About the role

The Shipping Representative I supports daily warehouse operations at our FedEx location in Camarillo, CA. Working in a team‑oriented environment, you will handle shipping, inventory and safety tasks to ensure efficient distribution services.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, replenish inventory and conduct cycle counts.
• Load and unload trucks, perform general warehouse duties and operate scanning equipment.
• Follow FedEx Office Distribution Services procedures and productivity standards.
• Attend daily operational meetings and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Uphold OSHA, DOT and company safety regulations.
• Provide feedback on waste reduction, efficiency improvements and report discrepancies.
• Assist the Shipping Representative II in training new team members.
• Participate in required trainings such as forklift, fire safety and product updates.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of general work experience.
• Team player with strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to stand for entire shift, lift up to 55 lb, and bend/twist regularly.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors and teammates.

Required skills

• Operation of scanning equipment.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift operation (certification preferred).
