Shift Manager – Fast‑paced Restaurant Leadership

About the role

The Shift Manager leads the restaurant team during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and safety. You will resolve customer concerns, coach team members, and partner with the General Manager on business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC Success Routine to maintain consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee shift‑excellence tasks, cleanliness, and product preparation standards.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Provide regular performance feedback to the GM and team members.
• Assist with profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor scheduling.
• Support hiring, training, and conflict resolution efforts.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience (3 months shift‑lead preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and maintain attendance punctuality.

Required skills

• Operation of cash register and making change.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
