Shift Manager – Fast‑Paced Restaurant Leadership

About the role

As a Shift Manager at Taco Bell in Odessa, you will lead the team during each shift, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive business results and maintain a positive restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to guarantee consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Handle customer complaints promptly while preserving positive relations.
• Assist the GM with profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor scheduling.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accurate order preparation, including proper product rotation and holding times.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience (shift lead experience preferred).
• Minimum age of 18 and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and perform duties throughout the restaurant.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Required skills

• Cash register operation and making change.
• Basic math for transaction handling.
• Inventory and cash control procedures.
