Service Technician – The Julia

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join Greystar’s property‑maintenance team at The Julia in Mesa. The role ensures that apartments, common areas and amenities are clean, safe and fully functional, supporting resident satisfaction and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures and safety standards while performing mechanical and technical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to work onsite in a fast‑paced residential environment.
