Service Technician – Premier (Prestonwood)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Technician – Premier to maintain the physical aspects of our Prestonwood property in Dallas. The role ensures buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑generated work orders and preventative‑maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials and tools efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to perform mechanical and maintenance tasks in a residential property environment.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Commitment to safety procedures and teamwork with vendors and supervisors.
