Service Technician – Home Remodeling

About the role

This position operates within the Repair and Service Department, handling internal work orders, retail repair orders, window/door maintenance inspections, small installations and other repairs for new and existing clients. The role also provides guidance, training and support to department members and may involve field and installation work supporting the Production Department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day workflow to ensure efficient service delivery and high‑quality repairs.
• Oversee customer interactions, address concerns and maintain a positive experience throughout the service process.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote service offerings and drive new business.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the service/install area.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in service, repair or remodeling.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills with excellent customer service orientation.
• Proven leadership ability to manage a diverse team of installers and foster collaboration.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly while maintaining focus on quality.
