About the role
Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor for its Fort Lee, New Jersey community. The role oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
- Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
- Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
- Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in company policies.
Required profile
- Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate work of service staff and external vendors.
- Strong attention to detail for inspections and quality control.
- Capability to manage inventory and adhere to budgetary constraints.
