About the role
The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common spaces, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory duties to keep the property operating smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, and final inspections.
- Develop and uphold standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
- Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
- Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
Required profile
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
- Experience overseeing make‑ready procedures for residential units.
- Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and quality‑control inspections.
