SEO and AI Search Specialist

About the role

TechnologyAdvice is hiring an SEO and AI Search Specialist to join its remote team and scale the organic reach of its B2B technology media brands across traditional search engines and AI discovery platforms. This position focuses on driving audience growth through performance analysis, keyword research, content gap audits, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Track organic performance metrics and execute technical, on‑page, and structural content optimizations.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive SERP analyses, internal linking audits, and content consolidation strategies.
• Guide editorial teams on SEO and AEO best practices, direct answer formatting, entity clarity, and structured data setup.
• Track brand visibility, citations, and mentions across AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI search.
• Identify technical crawling, indexing, and Core Web Vitals issues while running AEO/SEO tests to quantify impact.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on SEO and content optimization experience; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or Computer Science preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, structured data formats, and AI discovery interfaces.
• Strong skills in technical SEO analysis, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), content audit strategy, project management, and data‑driven reporting.
