Senior xarvio Business Development Representative – Illinois/Missouri (Field)

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions division as a Senior xarvio Business Development Representative focused on the Illinois and Missouri territory. You will drive the adoption of BASF’s xarvio Digital Farming solutions, working closely with retail partners, bio‑refineries and growers to deliver sustainable agricultural outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and close sales opportunities with retail partners and bio‑refineries.
• Collaborate with BASF sales, marketing and field teams to meet country‑level sales targets.
• Attend industry events, trade shows and webinars to promote digital farming products.
• Gather customer feedback, relay insights to product teams and support continuous improvement.
• Lead product demonstrations, trainings and webinars for customers and internal staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agricultural Sciences or a related field.
• 10+ years of sales experience in agriculture or biorefinery sectors.
• Proven track record of building and managing business relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of farming practices and equipment.
• Experience with digital agriculture solutions.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
