Senior Technical Training Specialist

About the role

The Senior Technical Training Specialist will design and deliver high‑quality training programs for internal and external audiences, focusing on operations, mechanical and controls maintenance, and specific equipment and software solutions. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, helping customers and staff master Dematic’s custom material handling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training covering operations, mechanical maintenance, controls maintenance, equipment, software, and customer solutions.
• Explain how Dematic’s custom solutions integrate into material handling systems.
• Adapt quickly to changing curriculum and equipment requirements.
• Create student guides and training materials for both traditional and fully digital delivery platforms.
• Assume greater responsibilities as knowledge of company and equipment expands.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering training for customized products and systems, preferably in material handling.
• High proficiency with PLCs and exposure to PLC programming and industrial controls (Allen‑Bradley and Siemens preferred).
• Familiarity with mechanical disciplines, machine diagnostics, repair, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets and design requirements.
• Exceptional communication and training skills with strong attention to detail.
