Senior Technical Manager, Financial Systems

About the role

Manhattan Associates is seeking an experienced technology leader to manage enterprise services for Finance, Accounting, Legal and related functions. The Senior Technical Manager will combine strategic vision with hands‑on leadership to deliver platform solutions that meet business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate with a “total service” mindset, overseeing the health of Finance, Accounting, Legal and Enterprise Mobility platforms.
• Lead demand planning, translate business needs into actionable objectives, and develop service strategies and roadmaps.
• Own end‑to‑end service delivery, manage budgets, forecasts and cost‑optimization initiatives while ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulations.
• Organize and manage projects across the SDLC, coordinate releases, testing and deployment, and serve as escalation point for critical incidents.
• Manage third‑party vendors, contracts and implementation partners, and drive automation and process optimization.

Required profile

• 10+ years managing Finance/Accounting applications (Q2X, OTC, P2P, RTR) and IT service delivery.
• 7+ years working with enterprise ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics or Salesforce.
• 10+ years leading onsite and global teams, with strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ITIL, PMP or similar certifications preferred.
