Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

The Senior Tax Accountant joins Helen of Troy’s Finance team to support tax compliance, audit management, and tax planning across a multi‑national, multi‑jurisdictional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in tax compliance, audit management, and tax planning for domestic and international operations.
• Review federal, state, and international tax returns prepared by third parties and prepare in‑house tax filings.
• Assist with quarterly and year‑end tax provisions and reconcile tax account balances of international subsidiaries.
• Maintain tax depreciation schedules, control logs, and ensure compliance with transaction, property, and income tax reporting.
• Support income‑tax examinations for non‑U.S. subsidiaries and research complex tax issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of tax experience in a multinational or fast‑paced setting.
• Authorization to work full‑time in the United States.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – intermediate to advanced proficiency.
• Oracle tax or ERP systems.
• Hyperion financial reporting tools.
• Workiva for tax reporting and compliance.
