Senior Systems Engineer – Data Center & Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment and lifecycle management of our data‑center infrastructure. The role supports mission‑critical maritime autonomy platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure hybrid infrastructure (on‑prem and cloud).
• Administer enterprise Windows Server and Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Develop and enforce backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity strategies using solutions such as Veeam, Commvault or Rubrik.
• Optimize storage and compute resources with technologies like NetApp, Dell EMC or Ceph.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python scripts.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Document designs, procedures and provide knowledge transfer to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience designing, building and operating data‑center environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
