Senior System Analyst - Electronic Discovery (Relativity)

About the role

Amentum is recruiting a Senior System Analyst with broad knowledge of government IT environments and Relativity experience to support a team of legal professionals serving the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington DC. The role is 100% office-based.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the technical aspects of electronic discovery for databases and assist with its strategic and legal aspects
• Work with litigation teams to design and apply technical strategies for databases
• Take part in legal proceedings such as 26(f) conferences and prepare affidavits
• Oversee statistical reports, ensure timely delivery and quality control, and prepare system and technical documentation
• Help create search strategies and lead technical support for outgoing productions, beyond QC of coding fields
• Manage the work order queue and provide desk-side Relativity training

Required profile

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting the systems used, with extensive Relativity experience
• Extensive data processing experience
• Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks and PC/server-based databases and applications
• Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials; U.S. citizenship is required for this location
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: undergraduate degree (computer science or information management/technology), supervisory experience, ability to lead a technical team, and a law degree, advanced technical certification or other graduate degree
