Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at Bosch’s Albion plant, you will own the quality of all purchased components, working closely with a global supplier base and internal plant teams. You will lead root‑cause investigations, ensure compliance through rigorous approval processes, and drive continuous improvement to maintain Bosch’s world‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead claims management using the 8D methodology and conduct managerial root‑cause analysis aligned with Bosch’s 14 Quality Principles.
• Manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), perform physical measurements, homologate measurement methods with suppliers, and oversee part release and Early Production Containment (EPC) activities.
• Establish and maintain the quality framework for supplied parts in SAP, including creation of Quality Info Records and Inspection Plans.
• Coordinate supplier defect cost recovery with manufacturing, logistics, and purchasing teams.
• Act as a quality leader in cross‑functional teams during escalations, problem‑solving, and supplier development.
• Communicate progress and initiatives using PDCA, A3 reports, and cockpit charts.
• Support internal, customer, and CSR audits and implement containment actions when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering within the automotive industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
