Senior Subcontract Lead

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Subcontract Lead to manage end‑to‑end supplier relationships for its East Aurora, NY site. The role blends strategic sourcing, performance monitoring, and contractual negotiation to ensure inventory, quality, and delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Drive supplier performance across inventory, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Convert demand signals into compliant purchase orders aligned with Moog’s processes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering teams on buffer strategies and forecast validation.
• Evaluate supplier risk, lead root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and development activities.
• Maintain proactive communication to ensure continuity of supply.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, purchasing, or program management.
• Proven track record in supplier relationship management and procurement processes.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem‑solving analysis.
• Preferred certifications: APICS, CPM, PMP.
