Senior / Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Invoca is building an AI-powered revenue execution platform and seeks a senior-level engineer to own a critical stage of its engineering lifecycle. You will shape how software moves from idea to customer impact, driving speed, quality, and trust across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for a domain such as reliability, security, data, quality, delivery, or architecture.
• Define “great” standards for your domain and ensure they are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities where AI and agentic workflows can improve your area (e.g., incident detection, test generation, security review, data pipelines, deployments).
• Implement safe, observable, and auditable AI-enhanced processes and help other teams adopt them.
• Build shared practices, tooling, or platforms that can be reused across teams, treating your domain as an internal product.
• Translate technical decisions into business outcomes—velocity, cost, risk, customer trust, and revenue impact.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to prioritize work based on measurable impact.
• Drive direction and standards across multiple teams, acting as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end ownership of a critical engineering domain.
• Ability to define high standards and hold teams accountable.
• Strong influence and communication skills to work with cross-functional leaders.
• Track record of translating technical work into measurable business results.
