Key responsibilities

• Contribute high‑quality code (≈70% of time) and collaborate with stakeholders (≈30%).
• Own the full component lifecycle from scoping and architecture to deployment, observability, and maintenance.
• Act as a “master of scope,” proposing pragmatic shortcuts to deliver core value quickly.
• Work closely with customers and product managers to break down complex features, surface edge cases, and assess trade‑offs.
• Elevate team throughput through rigorous code reviews, best‑practice sharing, and unblocking peers.
• Ensure reliability by implementing observability, automated testing, and seamless integration with Casca’s architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production SaaS projects.
• Recent (2‑4 years) experience in fast‑paced startup environments, leading from the front.
• Deep expertise in web application development with relational databases and a quality‑first mindset.
• Ability to anticipate scaling challenges and build just‑enough architecture for current load.
• Commitment to transparency, honesty, and a “team above self” attitude.
