Senior Software Architect

About the role

NationsBenefits is seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the design and development of high‑performance backend systems for its healthcare fintech platform. The role involves shaping technical strategy, mentoring developers, and delivering scalable cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop testable, scalable .NET Core Web APIs, microservices, and API Gateway solutions.
• Implement Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, and manage deployments using Azure App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
• Optimize database performance in SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB and other NoSQL stores, applying caching and query tuning.
• Lead a team of 6‑8 developers, enforce best practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional groups to align technology with business goals.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of backend development and architecture experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#.NET Core, EF Core, ASP.NET Core, and microservices design patterns.
• Hands‑on expertise with Azure cloud‑native development, including AKS, Service Fabric, Service Bus, and RabbitMQ.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and drive architectural decisions.
