About the role
As a Senior Project Leader at 3m, you will drive high‑priority new product commercialization projects within the TEBG Product Management Office. You will guide cross‑functional teams, align stakeholders, manage risks, and deliver launches with disciplined execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional teams to execute medium to large‑complexity New Product Introduction (NPI) and change‑management projects, including chartering, scope definition, work breakdown, milestone planning, gate reviews, launch readiness, and delivery.
- Partner with business management, technical leaders, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, marketing and other stakeholders to align scope, priorities, resources, risks and decisions.
- Own project communication by establishing clear plans, providing regular stakeholder updates, escalating risks constructively and driving decisions to closure.
- Manage schedule, scope, deliverables, resources, budget assumptions, risks, issue resolution, approvals, documentation, decision logs and action tracking to ensure on‑time, in‑full execution.
- Apply and reinforce project‑management process discipline using tools, risk registers, gate review deliverables, lessons learned and other standard practices.
- Leverage global resources and subject‑matter experts while coaching team members on expectations, tools, process discipline and effective collaboration.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- At least three years of project‑management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Five years of experience in new‑product commercialization is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication, analytical problem‑solving and collaborative interpersonal style.
