Senior Project Manager (Digital Projects)

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead digital and website projects for one of Critical Mass' biggest clients, turning bold ideas into delivered work. You will coordinate across strategy, creative, content, technology, data and media, ensuring clear direction and momentum.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end digital and website projects, from scoping through launch.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, keeping strategy, creative, content, technology, data and media aligned.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules and workflows, adjusting as scope or priorities shift.
• Own budgets and financial tracking, ensuring delivery stays within agreed parameters.
• Identify risks early, decide on escalations and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and project teams.
• Provide regular status updates on risks, dependencies and next steps.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to set priorities and maintain momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion better ways of working, including the use of emerging AI‑powered tools.
• Mentor less experienced project managers and help build a strong team culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in digital project management, especially website and digital experience projects.
• Proven track record managing projects across the full lifecycle.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams spanning creative, content, technology, media and other digital disciplines.
• Strong fundamentals in scope, timeline, dependency, risk, resource and budget management.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication, adaptable to senior stakeholders and day‑to‑day teams.
• Ability to create structure and processes in fast‑paced, lean environments.
• Client‑facing experience.
