Senior Program Manager - Municipal Engineering

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead collaboration between Artheon's Albany and New Jersey offices, expanding municipal engineering services across the Capital Region. This senior position blends leadership, client relationship management, business development, and team building to drive long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between Albany and New Jersey offices, promoting knowledge sharing and consistent project delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with municipal clients, local agencies, internal teams, and firm leadership.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to broaden municipal engineering services, including inspection, transportation, water resources, and civil engineering solutions.
• Lead and mentor a growing local team, supporting firm‑wide process implementation and quality standards.
• Coordinate resources across offices to ensure successful project execution and responsive client service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• NY Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain reciprocal licensure in New Jersey.
• 7–15 years of experience in municipal or civil engineering, program management, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience working with municipalities, public agencies, or local government clients.
• Strong leadership, relationship‑building, and business‑development abilities.
