About the role
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a strategic leader to own the multi‑year product roadmap for its Flexrotor uncrewed aerial system. You will act as the central hub linking engineering, sales, operations and senior leadership to deliver high‑impact block releases for both commercial and defense markets.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the dual‑market product roadmap, balancing commercial and defense requirements while ensuring predictable block‑release schedules.
- Lead cross‑functional alignment across engineering, production, flight test, training and customer support to prepare operational capabilities and documentation for each release.
- Support global sales teams with technical data, trade studies and proposal content for B2B and B2G opportunities.
- Drive executive alignment, build business cases and evaluate third‑party technology integrations to expand platform value.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems or a related engineering field.
- At least 10 years of progressive technical product or program management experience, with 5 years in aerospace, defense or autonomous UAS/VTOL systems.
- Proven track record leading product roadmaps using a block‑release methodology and delivering end‑to‑end product readiness.
- Strong financial acumen, capable of building unit‑economic models and business cases.
Required skills
- Block release methodology and product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Financial modeling using advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Roadmap visualization and product planning tools.
