Senior Pricing Actuary – Accident & Health

About the role

Zurich North America seeks a Senior Pricing Actuary to lead pricing and product development for Accident & Health lines, including supplemental health and accident products. The role can be based in New York, Schaumburg, Chicago or Overland Park and works in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rate filing development for new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate and perform actuarial analysis of loss and expense reserves.
• Provide actuarial model and risk consultation to underwriters.
• Coach junior actuaries and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
• Influence business decisions through clear communication of profitability analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science with 5+ years actuarial experience (or equivalent certifications such as FCAS/FSA, ACAS/ASA).
• Proven experience in product development, pricing and filing for Accident & Health business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical results to non‑technical audiences.
