Senior Oracle Transportation Technical Consultant

About the role

Next Generation, Inc is seeking a senior technical consultant to design, develop, and maintain Oracle Transportation Management solutions. This full‑time, hybrid position involves occasional on‑site visits to Cleveland, Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze transportation and logistics requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design and configure Oracle Transportation Management modules, including Order Management, Freight Payment and Billing, Fleet Management, and Transportation Intelligence.
• Customize applications using Oracle Application Composer and develop test plans to validate functionality.
• Define data migration strategies and oversee migration from legacy systems to OTM.
• Design and implement integrations between OTM and ERP, CRM, or third‑party applications.
• Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years experience as an Oracle Transportation Technical Consultant.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel to Cleveland as project needs dictate.
