Senior Oracle Transportation Functional Consultant

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for a senior Oracle Transportation Functional Consultant to join a hybrid team supporting on‑site visits in Cleveland. The consultant will implement, configure, and optimize Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to meet transportation and logistics needs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze transportation and logistics requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design functional solutions using OTM modules such as Order Management, Freight Payment, Billing, Fleet Management, and Transportation Intelligence.
• Configure and customize OTM applications, leveraging Oracle Application Composer and related tools.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs.
• Provide user training, create documentation, and deliver post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years experience as an Oracle Transportation Functional Consultant.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and OTM modules.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to travel to Cleveland as needed.
