Senior Network Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will lead the design, deployment and optimisation of Cisco ACI, Juniper and Arista datacenter switching, F5 load‑balancing and hybrid‑cloud networking across AWS, Azure and GCP. The role provides technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting and contributes to high‑level network architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration and optimisation of Cisco ACI fabric components, including VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs and contracts.
• Design and implement hybrid‑cloud connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN gateways) and integrate ACI with cloud‑native services.
• Oversee ACI fabric maintenance, upgrades, health checks and micro‑segmentation strategies.
• Perform deep‑dive diagnostics, packet captures and traffic‑flow analysis; lead incident root‑cause analysis.
• Create HLD/LLD documentation, runbooks, implementation guides and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Cisco ACI (policy model, spine‑leaf, multi‑site) and solid L2/L3 knowledge (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP networking constructs and hybrid‑cloud solutions.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in the US time zone and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Network monitoring tools: SolarWinds Orion, NetFlow, Grafana, NetBrain.
• Packet analysis tools: Wireshark, Network Monitor.
