Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

About the role

Clair is building a digital banking platform that lets workers get paid the moment they clock out. As a Senior Manager in Strategic Finance you will partner with finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality financial reporting, forecasting and analysis that supports the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance leadership on forecasting, budgeting, long‑range planning, and business performance analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models across revenue, unit economics, profitability, headcount, and cash flow.
• Evaluate new products, partnerships, and growth opportunities through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Own the creation of board, investor and leadership reporting, translating complex data into clear insights.
• Deliver monthly business reporting and performance reviews for Product, GTM, Partnerships and Controllership leaders.
• Build scalable reporting infrastructure using Pigment, Snowflake, SQL, AI tools and automation.
• Champion AI and automation initiatives that help Finance scale through systems and technology.
• Support fundraising, investor relations and other strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking or financial reporting.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting and data visualization abilities.
• Builder mentality with experience automating processes using AI and planning tools.
• Experience creating board‑quality charts and presentations with high data accuracy.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; comfortable working with accounting and FP&A outputs.
• Experience supporting month‑end close reporting and management reporting packages.
• Strong communication, organization and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
