Senior Manager, Sanctions – Crypto & Digital Assets

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Sanctions practice focused on Crypto and Digital Assets. You will guide clients in the banking and capital markets sector through complex regulatory environments, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory risk and compliance initiatives for crypto‑related clients.
• Design and implement compliance strategies that address sanctions and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Manage and coach teams during audits, risk assessments, and compliance program roll‑outs.
• Use analytical thinking and data analysis to improve reporting and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with clients to validate outcomes, incorporate feedback, and maintain robust governance.
• Promote innovative digital tools and AI‑human collaboration to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in compliance, sanctions, or related risk management.
• Proven ability to lead teams in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
