Senior Manager - North America PR & Events

About the role

Medik8, a fast‑growing UK‑based clinical skincare brand, is looking for a Senior Manager to lead North America public relations and events. Reporting to the Director of Advocacy & Influencer, you will shape the brand’s media presence and experiential strategy across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North America PR strategy aligned with the marketing calendar.
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, opinion leaders, and influencers to secure digital, broadcast, and print coverage.
• Elevate the founder’s profile as a thought leader through press pitching and media appearances.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver consumer, loyalty, press, influencer, masterclass, trade‑show and retail events, creating scalable playbooks.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of PR agencies and event vendors, overseeing budgets and performance metrics.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive coverage and PR KPIs, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with global communications, advocacy, retail and integrated marketing teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive PR and events experience, preferably in beauty or consumer‑goods.
• Proven track record of securing high‑impact media placements and executing large‑scale brand events.
• Strong network of media contacts and influencers in the North American market.
• Excellent storytelling ability and strategic thinking.

• Competitive base salary $120,000‑$140,000 plus discretionary bonus.
