Senior Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development Manager to lead the design and scaling of a modern learning ecosystem for a global, science‑driven organization. In this strategic role you will partner with business leaders, subject‑matter experts and People & Culture teams to translate capability needs into impactful learning experiences that drive performance and embed continuous development.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute an end‑to‑end learning and development strategy aligned with business priorities and compliance requirements.
• Design and deliver scalable learning solutions, including onboarding, leadership development, micro‑learning and blended programs.
• Build and embed AI literacy and adoption programs to ensure responsible use of emerging tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning interventions.
• Oversee LMS administration, learning technologies, compliance training and governance to maintain audit readiness.
• Develop engaging, accessible content across multiple formats and measure its impact.
• Track, analyze and report on learning effectiveness, capability uplift and adoption metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development or a related field, preferably in a global or regulated environment.
• Proven ability to design instructional experiences that drive behavior change.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills in both remote and in‑person settings.
• Experience with compliance training, audits and structured capability frameworks is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or equivalent.
