Senior Java Developer – Jersey City

About the role

The Infosys Enterprise Application Integration Services (EAIS) unit is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its Jersey City team. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Java‑based enterprise integration solutions that support a range of business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead design discussions, capture decisions, and guide the development team.
• Develop new features and enhance existing Java applications, ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Ability to convert complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for software design and hands‑on development.
