Senior Investment Officer – Fixed Income (Credit)

About the role

The Fixed Income team of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund seeks a senior professional to lead credit portfolio management, drive investment decisions and support the Fund's long‑term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead credit portfolio strategy, conduct fundamental and technical analysis of credit markets, and recommend asset allocation and security transactions.
• Oversee unit activities, coordinate projects, formulate investment policies, and evaluate external funds for potential inclusion.
• Supervise and develop team members, ensure high‑quality output, and represent the organization at inter‑agency meetings and conferences.
• Prepare investment reports, position papers and inputs for internal and intergovernmental bodies, and lead special projects to improve investment processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in fixed‑income credit analysis and portfolio management.
• Strong macro‑economic knowledge, understanding of ESG factors and regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver accurate results.
