About the role
We are partnering with an international banking group to recruit an AVP Internal Auditor for their New York office. The role sits within a small, high‑performing team and supports the Head of Internal Audit in delivering operational audits across the bank.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing operational audits throughout the bank.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Internal Audit to ensure audit findings are actionable.
- Participate in financial crime audit projects where applicable.
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of internal audit experience.
- Banking experience is essential.
- Exposure to financial crime audits is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish.
