Senior HR Manager – UHealth/MSOM

About the role

The Senior Manager, Human Resources partners with UHealth/MSOM leaders to provide strategic HR guidance, drive employee engagement, and support organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide employee‑relations guidance, conduct thorough investigations and resolve complex issues.
• Partner with leadership on talent management, workforce planning, compliance and organizational effectiveness.
• Manage HR data in the enterprise ERP system, generate reports and support special projects.
• Assist with recruitment, build talent pipelines and deliver career counseling for staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant HR experience, including complex investigations.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education or similar matrix organizations preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong employee‑relations and consulting expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with office software and HR ERP applications.
• Ability to lead teams, drive change and improve organizational performance.
