Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join Zipline’s Data Platform team. In this role you will build and maintain the internal tools and infrastructure that enable our autonomy development, from data pipelines to the applications used daily by engineers and operators.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a suite of internal tools that support the annotation team in producing high‑quality machine‑learning datasets.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning and Autonomy teams to understand requirements and ensure tools are optimised for their workflows.
• Develop data pipelines and data models that integrate labelled ML data for autonomy engineers.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual annotation processes and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Senior‑level software engineer with proven experience building full‑stack applications and data pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams, especially ML and robotics/autonomy groups.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and comfort tackling real‑world, large‑scale challenges.
