Senior Field Operations Associate - Warehouse

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Senior Field Operations Associate in Traverse City to administer and operate its warehouses, covering receipt, processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. The schedule is onsite, first shift Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with two weeks of training in Grand Blanc, MICH, and overtime and rotational on-call duties depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving, control the flow of goods and manage warehouse space
• Ensure operating procedures, space utilization and facility/equipment maintenance are effective
• Check inventory records and take part in cycle counts
• Inspect incoming and outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to meet safety regulations
• Inspect stock for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors
• Support quality initiatives across the branch
• Work with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse and carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
• Track inventory records, notify departments when supplies are low or orders would deplete stock, and arrange alternative product sources such as loaner banks or other warehouses

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• Preferred: warehouse/inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment and an associate degree
