Senior Factory HR Manager

About the role

The Senior Factory HR Manager partners with factory leadership to design and execute people strategies that drive operational excellence and workforce capability. Based onsite at the Schaumburg manufacturing facility, this role leads the full HR agenda, shaping an inclusive, high‑performing culture while supporting business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the overall HR strategy, overseeing service delivery, workforce planning and change initiatives.
• Provide expert counsel to senior leaders on people management, investigations and employee relations.
• Lead labor and union liaison activities, ensuring compliance with corporate, federal, state and local regulations.
• Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning using HR analytics and scorecard data.
• Develop recruitment strategies to attract, retain and develop talent aligned with short‑ and long‑term business goals.

Required profile

• BS/BA in HR, Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience, including 5+ years as HR Manager or Generalist in a production environment.
• PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.

Required skills

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• In‑depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• HR technical expertise in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and workers’ compensation.
• Experience with labor negotiations, mediation, arbitration and grievance processes.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
