Senior Environmental Professional – Site Investigation & Remediation

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level environmental professional to lead site investigation and remediation projects for our growing Vermont and New Hampshire practice. The role combines technical leadership, project management and business development to deliver high‑quality subsurface solutions for state, municipal and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level project management and technical direction on investigations, remediation, permitting and brownfields redevelopment.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and firm standards.
• Drive business development with state agencies, municipalities and private sector clients.
• Collaborate with market, discipline and business unit leaders to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain client relationships across Vermont and New Hampshire.
• Supervise, mentor and guide technical staff on environmental projects.
• Support on‑call contracts and existing client programs to expand subsurface services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, geoscience or environmental science.
• 8+ years of consulting experience focused on site investigation and remediation.
• Professional licensure (PE or Professional Geologist) preferred.
• Proven track record delivering environmental services in Vermont and/or New Hampshire.
